Our Local Club
As a group, our local wargaming club has been playing Napoleonics for about ten years. For the first five years we played Old Trousers, but ultimately abandoned the rule system for a variety of reasons. We enjoyed Sam Mustafa's Grande Armee rules, but missed the Napoleonic flavor of changing formations from line, to column, to square. Our current rule system of choice, Age of Eagles by Col. Wilbur E. Gray, has an elegant simplicity that represents the best of all worlds for us.
If you'd like to join our club regularly, or just stop by for one evening, feel free to visit our CLUB HEADQUARTERS. We play in York, Pennsylvania one night a week, and we play so many different historical periods that it's hard to remember them all!
